Why exploring space matters | Stephen Hawking | TEDxLondon

Should we be content with being cosmic couch potatoes? Professor Stephen Hawking thinks not. As technology brings us ever closer to unlocking the secrets of Space we must continue to dream about seeing it for ourselves. 

Professor Stephen Hawking is one of the world's best known scientists. He has worked on the basic laws which govern the universe and published best-selling books including A Brief History of Time.
